Patios, Walkways & Paving Repairs across Ontario

From back-garden flagstone walkways to full interlocking-paver entertaining spaces, built to not settle, sink or shift.

Overview

Why this service matters, and how we approach it.

The difference between a patio that lasts 30 years and one that sinks in three is what's underneath. We excavate properly, 300mm minimum, compact the subgrade, lay crushed-stone base in 100mm lifts, and compact each lift before a fresh layer goes in.

On top of that sub-base we install interlocking pavers, flagstone, natural stone or poured and stamped concrete. Each with bedding sand, polymeric sand joints and proper edge restraint.

How long does a paver patio last?
A properly installed interlocking paver patio lasts 30+ years with minimal maintenance. The pavers themselves are rated for 100+ years.
Do pavers need sealing?
Not strictly, but sealing every 3 to 5 years enriches colour, stabilises jointing sand and makes stains easier to clean.
Can you repair sunken pavers?
Yes. We lift the affected area, re-level the base, re-lay the pavers and re-sand the joints. Much cheaper than rebuilding.
Can I add lighting to the patio?
Yes. We install low-voltage LED lighting in step risers, paver borders, and as path markers.
How do you handle drainage?
Every patio is built with a minimum 2% slope away from the house. For areas with poor soil drainage we install a French drain at the downhill edge.
