Safeway Contracts Ltd started life as a one-crew roofing company out of downtown Toronto. Our founder, a second-generation roofer, was tired of seeing clients burned by cowboy operators, and set out to build the kind of company he would want to hire himself.
Today, two decades on, we run dedicated specialist divisions in roofing, masonry and paving, serving residential and commercial clients across Toronto. What has not changed: no deposit, payment only when you are 100% satisfied, and a crew lead who answers their phone.
Every one of our tradespeople is directly employed, no day-labour, no sub-sub-contractors. We carry full commercial liability insurance, WSIB coverage, and manufacturer certifications from IKO, GAF, Unilock, Techo-Bloc and Benjamin Moore.
